Throughout the sixties and into the seventies, Dick Robinson ruled the radio in Southern New England. He was the confidante and friend to tens of thousands of teenage listeners at a time when radio personalities were major celebrities. Through his primary business, the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, which he founded in 1964, he is responsible for thousands of broadcast careers — including many professionals heard daily on major radio stations and TV networks locally and nationwide. Today the school has grown to twelve campuses from Massachusetts to Miami.
